Aurum Sweater Ltd

Aurum is an industry-leading sweater manufacturing organization, based in Bangladesh. The word “AURUM” in Latin means “GOLD”. So its customers are considered as precious as gold, which is upheld by Aurum’s commitment to quality and on-time delivery. This fully 100% export oriented sweater manufacturing unit is only an hour away by car from the Dhaka international airport (HSIA) making it an all round centrally convenient location.

Aurum was acquired by New Asia Group in June 2014 and features a fully automated manufacturing setup. This heavily compliant sweater unit is equipped with automated fire-fighting sprinklers. The production unit kicked off successfully in June 24, 2008. The total floor space of the factory building is about 150,000 sq. feet divided in 6 floors each measuring about 25,000 sq. feet.

Its primary export destinations are France, Italy, Brazil, USA, Germany, Turkey, UK and Japan. Some noteworthy customers include Decathlon, NewYorker, OVS, Renner, K-Style, Action, KiK, Benross, Woolworth.

Aurum produces high quality sweaters for men, women and children.

Production capacity

There are 402 fully automated sweater knitting machines in the factory, which are capable of producing sweaters of various gauges. These machines are capable of producing various knitting patterns. There are a further 550 linking machines and a full range of finishing machines available in the factory. The average daily production capacity is approximately 15,000 pieces of high quality sweater garments.
